I hope this message finds all of you well. Effective in May 2026, I will step down as President of KICS after a quarter century and embark on a new chapter of my life. I am thrilled to announce that Akiko Oba, who has been with Kics for more than 20 years, will be stepping into the role of new President. Ms. Oba has demonstrated a deep commitment to KICS’ values and is well prepared to take the helm.

I am excited to see the fresh ideas and perspective that the new team will bring in the near future under her supervision.  

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each of you: my employees, customers and suppliers, those companies concerned with logistics, financial and legal professionals, all of whom together compose our trading team. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with you and am proud to have been part of such a dedicated team. Your support, hard work and commitment to excellence has made this journey most fulfilling. 

The time goes fast. Thank you for your support throughout the years. While I may no longer be at the forefront in the trading, I look forward to seeing where KICS goes in the future and hope our paths cross again someday.
